Carfax or Autocheck

Anyone that can compare for me on which is better? I am looking at an 07 Mustang from a private party and would like to do a check.
Carfax shows 5 records,autocheck shows 8.I hear carfax is better but logic says the other guys have 8 records lol.
The prices aren't to much different,i would just like to know i am getting the best info possible and i don't want to have to pay for both.

Tell the owner (or ask him nicely) that you will pay for one and he can pay for the other, if he wants to sell the car he shouldn't have a prob with that. I would want to know what the 5 & 8 records are, see if the 5 are the same on both and what the other 3 are on AutoCheck.

I agree. You need both. I have found things on Carfax that were not on Autocheck and things reported on Autocheck that were not reported on Carfax
