caster/ camber needed?

Whats up guys i gotta quick question. about a week ago i put an Eibach pro kit on my car *springs only* i have 17x 9 cobra R with 275s on the front. DO i need to put a caster/camber kit on it so i dont screw the tires up, also since i lowered it do i need to go get an alignment done? please throw some info up if you know any answers! When u get to about 1.5" or more lower, CC plates are almost a must. And you will definately need a alignment.

I am running the eibach pro kit and I will tell you from experience, GET CASTER CAMBER PLATES. I totally FUBAR'd a nice set of BFGoodrich Gforce t/a's a few months ago due to the negative camber.

when a car is lowered and the camber goes way negative u get that stupid ricer look plus u risk poor handling and tire wear so u definetly need cc plates and then an alignment. u migh also want to consider a bump steer kit as well.

Camber in the front is a very good thing for handling, generally the more the merrier. If you want to limit the damage to your tires, then either get the C/C plates to dial it back out, or run as little toe as you can stand. Camber by itself isn't what really kills tires, it's camber + toe.

i dont have c/c plates and could that be the reason my car pulls to either side like a mother....er when i am on uneven roads???

i have steeda sportlines (less drop than u have) and i need CC plates. My last set of front tires ended up going to the wires on the inside, and wouldnt hold air as a result. One good thing about it is that my tires never look like i beat on them. the tread on the outside is always new looking

mine are at the wires on the insides right now ... i'm just dreading getitng new ones because they are so damn expensive.



at least this time they will wear correctly because of the coil-overs and the c/c plates.

dont put it off man...mine actually went past the wires and ended up with a hole on the inside side wall. This was right after doing 80 on the freeway..

Hey man sounds like we have the same setup. I had my pro kit installed by Sacramento Mustang, and they 'highly' recomended them with my setup. You'll be glad you got 'em down the road. I wouldn't cut corners. They look nice under the hood also.
