Cat-back exhaust question

The previous owner of my car put a 93 cobra rear bumper cover on it (cervinis I believe). For the exhaust he put dumps right off of the mufflers. My question is, can I buy a cat-back system for an LX to get the tailpipes?

I know the 87-93 GT kit comes with turn-downs in the rear which I don't want. I should be able to clear tailpipes like the LX and 93 Cobra, correct?

Is there a special cat-back kit for 93 cobra or is it just 87-93 LX 5.0?

If you like the mufflers already and the dump pipes are not welded to the mufflers than you can just buy the lx tails. If you want to change out the mufflers for something else than go ahead and buy a cat back for 87-93 lx and your all set. I have a brand new set of stainless lx pipes that i need to get rid of if your interested pm me. the pipes are 2.5s and still in the box, I sold my fox body 4 years ago and the pipes have just been sitting around.

Watch who you buy the tails from. MAC is CRAP!!! I bought those for my 97 Cobra when I had it last year..(sold now) but the exhaust shop said they were not fitting good at all. They had to cut them and re-fit them a couple of times. When it was said and done I had NO ROOM at all for wider tires. I was mad, I will never order MAC again. This is not the first problem I have had with MAC either. I would just buy the whole Flowmaster Cat-back for 239.99. Summit offers free shipping.
