Catback from 96 cobra fit my coupe?

Does anyone know if a catback from a 96 cobra will fit my coupe? Reason being is I need a new catback....and a friend has one from a 96 cobra....he layed them under his fox gt and said it looked close but not sure if it would all fit, so anyone know?

I believe the tailpipe hangers will have to be relocated, and the pipes are actually longer than fox style pipes. You'd want to cut them down, otherwise they would look pretty goofy sticking out from the bumper.

Not a chance. The exaust location on a 5.0 and 4.6 are way different.

...wait a sec. Does the 96 Cobra still have a 5.0..I think I remember something about that? If so the exhaust will bolt up at the collector but not fit right under the rest of the car. My bad. Sorry.

no 96 has 4.6 dohc, Im just gonna order a new mac or flowmaster catback
