Well, I've seemed to narrow my choice for midpipe down to these two. I've searched and read nearly every thread available here and on the Mach1registry forum, so I wanted to ask locally what you run, how you like it, opinions, etc. I've heard good things about the catted SLP x-pipe, but many like the new MAC Prochamber with cats.

X-pipe gives more of that high pitched-NASCAR sound, some say too raspy-ricer sound, but will give good rwhp gains.
ProChamber is more of the classic muscle car rumble sound.

I want it to be much louder than stock, but not so my neighbors will need ear plugs in the process.

I'm going to run either Borla Stingers or SLP catback, so that one is pretty much decided, but I want the mid-pipe done this month, so I better decide soon.

I await replys and flame suit is on!

I have a couple of thoughts...

1. It has never been proven whether a good H, X, or prochamber will actually make the most power. So in my opinion, choose based on sound.

2. Stingers will sound awesome with the stock H-pipe, and none too quiet. I would recommend getting the Stingers first, and then deciding if you want more sound.

Go listen to Ed's car sometime, talk about too ^@#%!@ loud!

I would say get prochamber... they sound well with the stock mufflers on...

then you can just weld in new mufflers according to what you want

Not sure about that, need to research it. I do think it fits the Mach1.

I'll check around.

According to MAC's website, part #PC9904 below:

99-04 GT Pro Chamber with Hi Flow Catalytics
Part Number: PC9904

From what i've read it will fit 4V Mach1.

It'll fit.

The GT and Cobra can swap mid pipes.

Tip: The rest of us do not need to know about your PM's. That's where the P in PM comes from...
