CD changer skipping

Hey guys, I've been having problems with my CD changer skipping ( Mach 1000 system) The odd thing is it only seems to skip on certain tracks, like if you are listening to track one, then skip down to track six or seven, then it will begin skipping. I've tried all different CD's, with the same results. Should I try one of those CD lense cleaners before I bring it into the dealer?
