Recently installed a BBK catted X-pipe on my 95 gt. CEL light came on as the midpipe install got rid of 2 of the 4 cats. Any fool proof way to get rid of the check engine light? Do MIL eliminators really work?

Check the sticky on the top of the 5.0 forum on how to dump the codes. Your problem may not be related to just the exhaust system.

Run the codes biut my guess is you need MIL eliminators.

On a Fox? Nah... You only get two sensors to begin with and MAF needs those sensors.

Did I miss something?

NVM Just saw 95. Do they have after-cat sensors?

I think after cat sensors came on 96 and later OBD II equipped vehicles.

hmmmmmmmmmm... yep, the 95 still had the 5.0 and only two O2 sensors before the cats. Brain fart about the SN95

MIL's were 96-later.

pre-95 was pretty dumb when it comes to the cats. Run the codes. Its possibly unrelated..or a busted O2 sensor from the install

I want to measure mine. It doesn't look that tall.

I would replace the o2s in the chance they were damaged during install.
