Cervini's or Glasstek for a 4" cowl hood

So I need a 4" cowl for my stang and my dad's buddy recommended Glasstek for a cowl hood because he has one on his 65 malibu. I was just wondering if anyone here has one and how its quality was compared to cervinis. Because I could save about 200 dollars if I went with Glasstek (including shipping charges).

thanks!

well I went with the cervinis and don't regret it one bit :D

Cervinis is good, and Kaenan is a great company too, but both are $$. The truth with Fiberglass stuff is you usually get what you pay for. Pay $200 less and your probably going to get a $200 less product.

thanks everyone, but what I meant about the 200 less is that the glasstek hood is about 100 less and I can save about 100 in shipping because cervini's is far away from me. But I understand your point.

In that case, maybe do a search on some of the forums for glasstek. I have never heard of them, so cant comment, but fro what I have seen if your talking cheap, cheap fiberglass hoods, your going to get a sub par hood!

The people here would ask for pics of your mom, sister, and dog naked... and a lot of them are too young to even look at naked girls legally, so go figure that one out!

Good luck with the hood, post pics when you get it!

haha man must be some weird people on here, I normally stay in 5.0 tech and S197 forums here, but I figured this was a talk question so anyways.

I'll definitely post pics up when I get it. I can't wait to drive this car, its been over a year and I have to wait until the snow clears!

You wont be disapointed with cervinis, I have no expirence with any hoods, but Id wait a few extra weeks to get an extra few paychecks to pick up a cervinis, the way I see it is, cervinis is the **** nit, you will have no problems with fit, quality, etc. gauranteed, any other company and your taking a chance. Thats just how I see it, get pics when its on!

I see it the same way, but I just wanted to see. Yeah I can't wait to see how the hood will look, I also just got some ROH ZS Racing wheels that will soon have drag radials on the rear and I'm not sure what on the front.

Then I plan on getting a procharger in a little over a year along with a Baer brake kit.
