I happened to run across this car for sale and got to thinking....hm....chance to make a couple bucks and get a motor out of it? I was thinking either parting car out and selling as a roller orrrrr swapping motors and putting my stock motor in it?
I have seen this car in person before at a show, it was cherry for sure with the paint job etc. The car used to have a KB 2.2 or 2.6 on it and made high 500's or low 600's I forget. He pulled the blower off and sold it for like $5-6K I think it was high.
Here is the details:
I'm selling my 1996 Ford Mustang GT with the following modifications:
2003 GT Iron block
5.0 forged stroker rotating assembly
Patriot Performance Cylinder Stage II Heads
Comp Cams XE270AH
FRPP windage tray
FRPP High volume oil pump
MSD wire set and coil packs
Custom return style fuel system with 24 LB injectors
T45 5 speed with a FRPP King Cobra clutch
31 spline axles, rebuilt 8.8" differential
3.55 gears
Subframe connectors
Drilled and slotted brake rotors
Saleen style wheels w/ custom center caps
Ford Racing Cobra R hood
Fresh gun metal gray paint only about 3 years old
The new motor has less than 5,000 mi, body has approximately 105,000 miles.
This GT made 300 rwhp to the rear wheels and 315 ft lbs of torque and has been built ready for nitrous, superchargers, or turbos. Vehicle has a PA 'R' title.
I recently removed a supercharger and am having trouble getting it to run smoothly, might have a bad injector and needs retuned. Selling 'as is' and the car will need to be towed.
