changing valve stem without a tire machine

or you could drill a 3 in hole in the tire and get it in that way unless you want to keep your tires.:D

to install you have to deflate tire push the tire in place stem in secure it try prying tire back onto rim inflate and done:nice:

You can very carefully (don't wanna screw up your brakes or wheel) lower the car down on a jack, using the brake rotor to break the bead on the tire, and pop the new one in that way. Some pliers are all you need to pull the old stem out. Same goes for popping a new one in.

Oh, and I did work at a Firestone nearly 10 years ago doing general service (tires, oil, brakes, minor other items), so I knew what had to be done to break the bead to swap the valve stem.

haha yea i used to work at firestone also, and i decided it was a terrible idea to work there any more...it was way to tiring and i felt like someones grease bitch...forget that, theres a difference between wrenching on your own car, and wrenching on someone elses
