CHEAPEST 5-LUG CONV. ???

Depends on what wheels you want to run as to the way you convet, since most of the 96+ 17" Mustang wheels will not work well with the SVO/ Mark VII rotors in the LMR kit. Also depends on if you want to search for parts or just pay to have them delivered to your door. For reference, I can duplicate the LMR kit with used parts locally for around $100 or so at our pick a part yards. With Ranger rears and 96+ SN95 fronts it would run me around $200.

Dont do the lincoln rear disc conversion, its garbage!!! Both my rotors are warped now and I dont have the money to change anything so I'm screwed. As for the fronts, you can run any rim you want. If you dont believe me then go to my cardomain page and check out the 99 cobras I have on my Lincoln 5 lug front rotors. I only needed a 7/8th spacer and moroso longer wheel studs. It runs just fine, and the rims dont stick out at all, and if anything it gets the tires away from the inside so I have no rubbing problems even with my lowering springs. The spacers ran me about $40 and the studs I think were like $15.

Theres nothing wrong with spacers. Some of the best companies sell spacers and I know a lot of drag racers and autocross guys who use them so they cant be bad. I've got several hundred miles on my setup and it works fine. You can use any rim you want with Lincoln brakes. Since you havent tried it like I have I think that makes me more qualified to know if it works or not.
