Roush Check Engine Codes?

First off....I'd like to give a big big thanks Joe at Chicane he was able to help me through the diagnostics.

A few miles after my car rolled over to 10K miles, I got a present....the dreaded "check engine" light.......

The car is a 95 S351

The code with just the key on is 511 (EEC permanent Read Only Memory (ROM) test failed. ) Not sure at all what this one is? Any ideas?

The code with the car running is 322 (EGR valve opening not detected.)

Now keep in mind I am in no way a "car guy" other then I love SALEEN's. Can someone break this down for me and tell me what I am in for? Joe would be doing the work but he is 2000 miles away.

Hey Bill, I got your PM and sent you a list of references. I trust any one of those guys/shops with my Saleen. Ford DR helped me diagnose a fuel injector problem on my old '01 Saleen at no charge, Rick did the gears on my current Saleen, and DTP Racing does all the tuning on my car. I don't trust anyone else except Brent to tune it.

Great, I hope he can help you out and get your car running right again. Didn't realize you lived in the area. I'm near Little Creek NAB in Virginia Beach. I've been out to Dam Neck a few times for training with my job.

I'm sure you would know or went over this with Joe but has your car received the 97 upgrade? This could be as simple as an O2 sens.
