ive heard that kit is awesome monster kit and then ive heard its crap.. it might be what people use as supporting mods.. as long as you have everything else upgraded im sure you will be at or past what they say it made on the dyno..

I can think of a few things off of the top of my head. There items ore optional, in my opinion worth changing while you have the engine apart.
Timing Chain-water pump-
seen bolts where listed but not items themselves.

Also I would recommend buying a fel-pro One peice Oil Pan Gasket. The ones in the kits tend to leak. $30.00 for a quality one peace rubber (polyeurothain, and some metal, I think) pan gasket is well worth the investment to save time in the future.
Thermostat.

Also I noticed you had listed you already bought the bearings. I noticed you bored the block, however did you check the crankshaft for scratches, taper, etc? You may want to get it turned .010 and get some oversized bearings?? Just a thought.
Also with the larger heads and intake maybe a 5 angle valve job? The local Machine shops charge around $50 per head.

clutch fork and pilot bushing

to name a few,
why not upgrade alt NOW while out of the car? LESS WORK in the long run

and don't forget good paint for the engine- seen two BRAND NEW 302s go in with piss-poor paint to flakw off and rust an otherwise nice engine, EASILY OVERLOOKED
