Loaded on the transporter, and on it's way to Minnesota. A sad moment to be sure. :(

I'll have lot's of happy memories having the car take on it's character here in the forums. Many of you have participated in some way in helping me along. I finish this chapter, but a new and exciting chapter starts Saturday. :D

I'll miss it for sure....

Thanks for the words!

Going up Sat to Factory Five, probably ordering then. Current project is to drag the 88 GT home, and part it out, get he suspension parts I have ready for the Cobra. Once that is done, the kit should be ready to pick up.

I hate to sell one and watch it leave. The 67 I have now. The guys mom cried when it was loaded on the truck to come home with me. I told her I would send pictures as I redo it so she would know it was being taken care of.
Have you found the new web site to hang out on for cobra info??

This was my second time to sell a special Mustang. The first was the Deceiver in 1990. I'm staying here, as I like this forum immensly. I have found a forum for Factory Five owners that has a wealth of information and ideas, but it does not seem to have the charisma this place has.

You guys can't get rid of me yet!!!

I also sold one of my favorites recently. I rebuilt an 87 GT. It was my first. Now Im in a whole new world w/ my 67 coupe. Sad to let the 87 go but exciting to get my new one going.

If thats not the one your talking about.

Sad? How can you be sad? It was your choice! We didn't want you to sell it, your daughter did not want you to sell it, but you yourself decided to sell it, so how can you now say you are sad???

Chepsk8,
I just finished helping my cousin build a Factory Five Cobra. Took a little over a year. Actually I was in charge of bodywork and paint. Keep my e-mail address, and feel free to ask questions. Actually, we are not that far from you if you want to come see the car. (Wayne,PA.)

it's always sad to see them go, but as my wife says, "you can't keep 'em all." But with a 3 weekend car limit, that's not too bad.

I sold my Mach, (it went to Michigan), in November, to fund my Factory Five project..

I too hang out on both of of the forums..
