Chinese Cobra Intake or Chinese Typhoon Intake?

Baffle is critical to prevent oil usage in every intake..not having one is definately a significant factor to your problem. Mine did infact come with one from the vendor, I'd post up pics...but everyone regualar to the board has seen my engine pics probably a little too often

quality parts

well i was just telling my bro. everyone has an opinion and basically that is all everyone is giving on here is an opinion which is fine. bottom line is if you want quality you have to pay for it, so you get a proven part from a proven company that made the original. if you're on a budget and you want to save money and get something that will work but isn't perfect then buy the replica. there is no doubt that the original casts of any performance part are better, but how much, and the debate of if it's worth is up to the individual. i've learned over and over again that you get what you pay for. same principle for electronics, food, and clothes, sometimes it's worth it and sometimes it isn't, depends on what you're using it for and what your budget is and what you expect out of the product you buy.

Uh, this topic died in May of 2007. And my Typhoon is just fine.

I find this entire post amusing, why would someone lay down good money for something they know is a cheapo chinese knock off meant to take money from our already failing economy, why not give the money to the americans that did the R&D and took the time to make sure that it was a quality piece??? I definately know where my money went, right back into the US economy and not overseas where they can make a garbage copy of a quality part and actually hurt the companies that made the quality piece
