I just installed the Tunable Induction Intake with the SCT XCal 2 tuner. What a difference. I've got an Auto '06 and im chirping tires into THIRD gear! You can argue all day long about how much is from the intake and how much is from the tune. But this combo, plus the excellent customer service from John De Molet, is definitely worth the money.

I took about 30min to install and I definitely recommend this to anyone that has been tossing around the idea of doing a tune and/or intake. I kept putting it off but now that I’ve done it I regret not doing it sooner. This should quench my need for more power, for now.

Congrats on the results. I agree with you, the car felt completely different with the CAI and tune installed. One thing though, how do you chirp your tires into 3rd gear in an auto. I would imagine you can light up the tires in first but as the tranny shifts itself I can't see how you could "chirp" your tires unless you are "shifting" manually which I guess is what you are doing. I have never driven an automatic tranny car with more than 200hp so excuse me if this is a dumb question.

Though, oddly enough, the keyboard knows where to insert caps? How odd.

Great intake, I can smoke tires all the way thru 1st and 2nd now.
Lots-o-fun
Kinda slides to the left thru 1st and then slides right thru second.

I agree, the car drives completely different now. I also have the demolet kit with the SCT tuner. With an auto my car hits second so hard that the Traction Control pulls all the power. With the TC off the car chirps second and third. Overall the car is much more enjoyable even when I am just driving normally. Best $500 mod I have done to any Mustang I have owned! People with 05-06 Mustangs without a tuner have no idea what they are missing particularly if they have an auto!
