I was coming back to work following a lunch break and I'm following this late model GT 'vert thats painted with ChromaLusion paint. Looked dark blue metallic shading into green. See http://ca.dupont.com/NASApp/dupontglobal/ca/products/prodDetail.jsp?nodeID=5468

This paint is similar to the BASF "Mystic" used on '96 Mustang Cobras. How many here have repainted their cars using ChromaLusion, or had graphics done in ChromaLusion?

I would love to get my car painted a color like that (something on the lines of the Saleen Rainbow paint): http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=6236&item=2482312795&rd=1

How much did it cost to do your Mazda?

this is another pic of the mazda(my beater)It is very similar to the rainbow paint that was on the Saleens. It cost me around $4000 4 years ago to paint it.Thats just the cost of the materials.working at a body shop back then i had all the labor done for free.

I'm easily frustrated by things that just don't look right and I'd be forever bothered by this paint. Though it is very cool, unique and all that good stuff, it's just not for me. My Black GT is hard enough to get looking 'right'.
Just MO, not right, not wrong, just my 2 cents...
