More for the bling guys, if anyone.

As some of you may know, I've kind of gone on a spree while overseas, looking for underhood bling, and so far I've picked up quite a bit. Now, getting down to the Valve Covers and stuff, I still have all the black stock stuff. I was on ebay, as usual, and I'm finding all these el-cheapo chrome dress up kits (Valve covers, chrome wing nuts and plates, breather grommets and whatnot). Has anyone ever attempted these things? For the price (35 bucks) there's gotta be something horribly bad about them. What should I look for when purchasing??....I'm not even going to come close to purchasing this kit until I get some feedback on these things...not going to waste money on something that's gonna look horrible from the start, or fall apart after a few thousand miles...

Any help would be appreciated.

I look at it this way...You have a nice car, would you really want to throw a $35 dressup kit on that nice of a car?

I went with the moroso fabricated aluminum and they look better than anything I have every seen on one of our cars. Yes, they are expensive, but they are well worth it.
