Hello all,

I was thinking about replacing the plastic knobs in my Saleen with some metal ones. I am torn between the chrome and satin finishes. I have the dark interior with the silver door inserts. Any one have any pics or thoughts about it? I have always liked the chrome, but I don't want it to look to busy in the cabin. Plus, I have those silver inserts, so I think the chrome window switches would contrast more than the satin ones.

Thanks,

Dale

Here is My 03 Mach with the UPR satin ac knobs, headight knob, & door lock pins. Actually I did end up hand polishing them with aluminum polish, but it didnt make them look chrome, just a little brighter then satin. Im not that fond of chrome on modern cars, only old schools... Sorry about the crappy pics, my flash f'd them up....Definatly doesnt make the interior look too busy, just more high end imo. I hate that cheap plastic s--t!!! Actually I have more billet coming in the mail this weak. An MGW windsheild wiper knob, cig lighter & E brake handle.

I think the MGW ac knobs look kinda weird... Maybe they look better installed? I went with the regular UPR's because they look factory to me, just better. I like to mix & match company's because some stuff looks good & some doesnt. I want the whole kit. The door bezels, sill plates, power window switches, cruise control, door handles & cup holder bezels. All in satin of course!!! I might even have to get one of those cool lookin MGW shift knobs for the summertime, because I can tell that my Mach 1 shift ball is gonna get hot. I dunno though because I bought it last september when it wasnt hot anymore?

The Mach 1 gripper shifter ball from MGW is excellent. Yeah, it's on the high side since it's like $44, but it feels great, especially when you get an aftermarket shifter. The shifter ball and short throw give you so much of a positive throw and feel. :nice:
