Should be the same but on my 96 the cigar lighter fuse is located in the engine compartment fuse box. It should be a 30amp fuse in the "CIG LUM" position.
While we're on this subject.. anyone know how to fix the auxilary lighter outlet? I shorted it out with wire cutters and i cant find a fuse for it. Its not getting power to the wires running to it at all.
On your 98 the fuse in mislabeled. I believe its labeled drivers power seat and is under the hood. I think they moved the power socket fuses into the inside fuse block in 99 and newer.
i blew my auxilary outlet out once. (in the arm pad storage area) i couldnt find the darn fuse. i checked all the interior ones, (driver side) then i checked the ones in the engine bay. all appeared to be fine. finally a took it to the dealer for my oil change and reported the problem. They fixed it. (never found out if it actuall was a fuse, although i am almost positive that it was) btw try checking the fuse diagram in the manual for its location.

Mine stopped working after I installed my Triax. I only used it for my Cell Phone Charger. I don't smoke Cigarettes and I use a torch lighter for my Cigars.
