Cleaned up the ol' beater...

ha, well yea it's not an actual beater but it is the daily car that gets driven anywhere, in any weather (snowstorms too) without a care...very much unlike the Mustang where I don't even like to leave it outside the garage and uncovered. If I see dust and **** get on it I go

If I didnt have kids I would have a beater like that for a DD. I usually DD the mustang and the kids fit surprisingly well in the convertible's back seat, but lately we have been in monsoon season so I am pimping out my hemi ram that gets like 13mpg:notnice:

Are you registered on G35driver.com?

To some of those guys, the G35 is the ride that is garaged and pampered and they would drive a Mustang around as a beater :)

Yea, just go there for tech if I need it though. Last thing I need is another site to hang around on

When I said my hello's I posted the Stang too, and they liked it quite a bit :)

The Audi, 170 hp/ 166 tq.

I raced my friends Infiniti FX35 (said to be mid 15s) from a stoplight to about 90 mph, and had 2 cars on him. Not fast fast, but when driven right it's not bad.

If you bog it off the start it sucks. Can actually be scary pulling into traffic if you let the clutch go too soon.

If a lexus ISF wasn't $56K starting...i'd be all over that. My sis has an '08 IS250 she never drives and it's a damn nice car...but seriously underpowered.

I could deal with a 400HP Toyoys Camry :)

Nah, give me a stick shift CTS-V (the new one even tho I dont think they intend to put a stick shift in them) and I'd be perfectly happy with that.

Yes if you bog down an AWD turbo car, no matter where your foot is, you have a few seconds before anything happens, and thats a BAD feeling when you just pulled out in front of traffic.
