Clearing up the area around the clutch pedal?

Has anyone cleared up the area around the clutch pedal? I'm still getting acquainted to the Stang but I thought I started squashing a wiring harness while trying to use the clutch pedla. Why did Ford keep that bundle right next to the pedal? I also felt my foot jamming into part of the "dead pedal" area.

Here's a pic.

I have hit the wiring harness and have squished my foot against the carpet.

I zip-tied the loom to another wiring loom behind it to give me more room. I can't do anything about the carpet though.

Ok man pictures really are worth a thousand words. As soon as I saw your pic, I went out just now and took a couple pics of mine but its dark out, and I just hoped for the best and took the pictures. I really didnt see exactly where and how my wires are stashed but tomorrow in the light I will. You can see that there not in my way on my car, but your sure right about yours. If its a big deal to get right, I my self wouldnt mess with it, your dealer will fix this for sure.

Loaded

Interesting! It appears you don't have this wire loom. I wonder if it is because of any possible differences in electrical accessories/packages?

I hope you got this fixed by now, but it does seems weird mine is not like that. The only option I dont have is heated seats. Dont need em much in Texas, but mine is a deluxe model.

Here's a pic of the zip-tied loom. It still looks more crowded than your Stang. Did I end up getting the super secret squirrel tracking and disabling package?

I believe Ford started using less carpet for the 06 or 07 MY. What I still don't understand is how I have so many more wires than the other guy's 07 even though we have the same factory accessories.

Beats me

I believe Ford started using less carpet for the 06 or 07 MY. What I still don't understand is how I have so many more wires than the other guy's 07 even though we have the same factory accessories.

Im with you man, how can the same cars be so different? Maybe you can run by the dealer, and look at another 07 just to see what you can see?

If the dealers car or car's look like mine under there, it ought to be fairly easy to make them fix this properly.

If I can help you with something just ask.
