when i hit a bump i hear a clunk, clunk, i did'nt have this noise befor. the shop owner told me to live with it. it could be this it could be that. any help?
65 mustang. thanks phil

If all he did was to install new springs and shocks, without removing the upper control arm (aka, uca), then the first place I'd check is for a loosely mounted shock. Stock spring? Is it orientated properly? There's a 'tang' on the lower spring perch for the end of the coil to point to.

Just a few things to check to get you started.

thanks i'll check that out. the springs are from NPD, original specs. now the car sits alittle too high, so iam going to put the old ones back in. the shop owner is a good customer of mine, so i don't want to be a pain, but idid'nt have the problem befor the new install. i am going to have another shop do the swap, and check everything out.
