clunking in front end

i just took my car out and something has really been bugging me. when i hit some type of road defect with my right front i get a clunking noise from it. also i get a constant vibration from my steering wheel at varying engine speeds and just general instability in my steering. anyone got any ideas?

You might wanna check the passenger side steering ball joint and tie rod end for wear and excessive play.

Inspect ball joints, FCA bushings, tie rod ends, swaybar endlinks, etc...etc... Just jack up the front end and grab and wiggle things. OH and dont forget the ever important rack bushings.
