Clunking noise after disengaging the clutch.

Hey foxbody friends. I have a dilemma with my 88 GT vert manual. When I disengage the clutch I hear a clunking noise coming from underneath the floor boards. It’s at start, 2nd and 3rd gears. I also hear it when i accelerate at lower speeds. I tightened the tranny mounts and there is no change.
Any suggestions.

It’s U joints most likely I agree, had the same issue, I recommend upgrading to a sluminum driveshaft while you’re at it if you can, it’s well worth it
 
Something I recommend when replacing u joints is to have the drive shaft balanced, or like was mentioned an aluminum one. Check exhaust like was also mentioned, take a look at the bushings in the trans cross member also.
