Clunking sound from rear when turning left??

I just noticed that on my 95 cobra, when I turn left, the passenger side rear is making a clunking noise. It kind of sounds like something is loose or dangling around. My current setup is LCA's, MM torque arm, and MM panhard bar. Any ideas what this could be?

Hmmm. Perhaps the rear suspension is binding, and it's popping under load? I may be talking out of my @$$ as usual, but maybe it'll spark and idea in someone else.

Look for signs of chafing in the suspension, tire sidewall, rim, etc.

Also, be sure there's nothing in the trunk or spare tire well that is clunking. OEM jacks are great at that, for instance.

I actually just started hearing this. I believe it is the jack or something in the spare tire well. It started when I put them back in.

Also check the brakes if it's not the jack. They may have a bit of play in them and need to be replaced.

Look for interference between the tailpipe and gas tank, too. Some aftermarket tailpipes have less than ideal clearance with the tank.
