This happened a long time ago on my virgin 01 GT (just minor mods.) The valet guy parked my car and mushed, ground, and crunched reverse on my car... It feels really gritty and heres the weird thing... The pulleys seem fine and I already checked the timing adjuster

1. It only is gritty with the car on
2. It gets worse with the AC on!
3. The clutch adjuster clicks everytime now when I push clutch in!
4. I have no idea what it could be Please Help :flag:

There might be a tooth or two broken off the plastic clutch quadrant, which may account for your pedal adjusting everytime. One of the two pieces up under there may just be broken. It may be causing slack in the clutch cable causing the fork to be doing something strange with the throwout bearing.
What would the pulleys and timing adjuster have to do with the clutch? Two different problems here, or is there just a strange noise happening?
I'm with the stallion...never let anyone else drive your car.

I agree... never let anyone drive your car unless you really trust them. When I had the G35cpe, I took it in for service and the service guy stalled the car FOUR times before he could get it moving. Ever since then, I never let them move my car...well at least when I am around... when I'm gone, I just hope everything is going good. If I were you, I would complain to the valet service. They are responsible for any damage they cause. My friend used to work for a valet service and a guy he was working with stalled a Porsche in front of its owner. A complaint was made and he was fired. These people should not have jobs like this if they can't drive IMO.

Thanks-I'll check and take some pics tonight if you can tell me what I need to take pics of by then. But if it does it only when the car is on then couldn't something be broken besides the quadrant? Again, if ac is on then its screwed up
