This moves the point of engagement closer to the floor. Turn the FWA CCW to remove slack. This moves the Point of engagement towards the top of the pedal.

Leave the cable in place. Loosen the lock-ring and adjust the FWA. Tighten lockring and test the clutch actuation in a safe location.
