Hey everyone, i have an 1985 Turbo SVO and im having a little trouble taking it in and out of gear. Feels like its still biting and not letting go all the way when i push in the clutch, as well as being difficult getting it into first. Im thinking that its simple and it just needs an adjustment of the cable. But i have no idea where to find where to adjust it. I heard that there is a knob or something that you can tighten and loosen?

If it's like the later cars with the OEM cable & plastic quadrant, adjustment is done by placing your foot underneath the clutch pedal and giving it a firm pull upwards toward the dash.

If it needed readjusting, you will hear a click or 2 of the quadrant's teeth.

So i tried pulling the clutch upwards like you said.... and i think the cable ended up coming off of the clutch pedal. Fell off while i was in the midle of the street... I looked underneath the car to see if anything was broken and its not. But the pedal is almost to the floor. But when i press it it still moves a little. Any helpers out there???? I got work in a few days and thats my only transportation.
