i will try to see if i can some how if i can bend the tube inward and if that doesn't work than cut the tube and re-route and weld.

I tried a cable - didnt work with my tri y's. Went hydraulic, much better setup IMHO.

well, after dealing with clearing the header from the cable i got another problem the tran doesn't want to go in to gear.how do i properly adjusted the cable?

I had the same problem. No amount of adjusting would help. It turned out the release lever was hitting the forward edge of the belhousing opening.I solved it by removing the ball stud pivot and placing a washer behind it to put it a little closer to the clutch, so it could release earlier.
