clutch help please

hello all. as i pulled from a stop (soft/normal/slow driving) as i pushed the clutch to shift from 1st to 2nd, my clutch went all the way to the floor with barely any effort. i then coasted into the parking lot, popped the hood and checked my cable. my cable was broken. i dont know anything about clutches so i need some input. could someone tell me if the cable is the only part that i need? i have the firewall adjuster, and is a king cobra clutch that by the way was a mofo to push. is this an easy fix? if not, how much should i look forward to spending? my car is an 00 gt. thanks
