Clutch Issues (Exciting!)

Alright, this is going to be the most exciting post ever. (sarcasm)

It took my clutch 3 months to break in. Is this unheard of or what? (Actually it's probably the labor job that's the cause) Drove it for awhile, the RPM's never caught up to the engine - never fully kicked in on all cylinders if you know what I mean - took it - got it checked out, nothing wrong. All of a sudden a few weeks ago, clutch kicks in, RPM's start catching up, running fine. Then, clicking noise under the shifter starts - and now my tranny shakes from 2-3 and 3-4 - something def. loose or not clicking the way it should. Kind of pisses me off since it's a new clutch. I'm nearing the point of taking out a 5K loan, doing new exhaust, headers, brakes, rims, tires, suspension, and body work just so I don't have to worry about it for a long period of time. I'm def. not selling her unless I had the cash to cough up for a S-351 or a 95 cobra - and I'm 21 and years away from that! Anyone had similar clutch issues with it not braking in?? I had it looked at and it looked fine, but it obviously needs a more detailed estimate (and a new mechanic) Thanks guys.

some mechanics are really professional con artists...and thats a FACT!!!!
it was simply a poor job..take it back to the guy and tell him this........
im going to stand in front of your shop w/this sign<make a sign saying something cute> and tell every single person how bad your work is.every spare minute of my time is gonna be dedicated to making your life as misrable as you made mine..and im going to start w/an official complaint to <whoever takes buisness complaints in your area, and issued his mechanic liscence>..
or you can lay down and take it in the arse and tell us all how it feels. :rlaugh:
obviously your smart enough to know it wasnt done right.its kinda hard to screw a clutch job up..but....
its called slipping when the rpms dont catch up...and thats because the clutch isnt fully enguaged..this can happen also when meatheads do a sloppy job and spill fluids on it..or leave greasy paw prints all over it and it glazes and all that..3 months could be long enough to burn thru most of the clutch and get to a non contaminated part..did it smell nice??
