I put a motorsport clutch in about 6 months ago, and since then the clutch has been stiff, but i dont mind that. However, the pasy couple of days the clutch pedal feels like its grinding going down, just doesnt feel smooth. i tried to lube under the dash where the pedal goes into the solenoid, but nothing. is this a problem, and if so, how can i go about fixing it?

Probably have the HD clutch from ford motorsport. Those are stiff naturally.

Your bearing retainer could be getting gaulled and the throwout bearing may not be riding smooth on it...

It is the HD clutch from motorsport....i should have clarified earlier, it only happens after driving for a while. At first, the clutch is smooth, still heavy, but smooth, then it gets worse after driving for a while. maybe this info will help describe my situation better

David's idea about the bearing retainer was my first thought too. If it gets worse when the motor/trans is hot, I wouldnt overlook something simple like the cable.

Good luck.

so check the actual cable? for what? I didnt think those things went bad

If I were to guess, I would look at the clutch cable coming out of the firewall and run your eyes/fingers down the cable to look for any burnt spots. Possibly, once it is heated up, the cable or the material surrounding it expands (constricts the travel)?
