Ok, so i have a problem that causes bad chatter. The clutch padel is really mushy and soft at the first part of the clutch padel. Theres way to more play in it. i dont know how to fix it but i think its the cause of my chatter. If i push the padel down abit all the chatter stops but if i pull it back up to the mushy part than it chatters. So, i might take it to aamaco transmission place and get them to tighten the cable for me to fix this last problem.

How hard is it to fix this problem? Can i do it myself or what? how much am i looking to get charged for them to tighten it.

Cliff: Clutch pedal has a "dead" or "mushy" feeling to the first part of the travel
thanks

if that doesnt work and you have your stock quadrant and cable theres nothing that can be done but buy a new one. i got the maximum motorsports kit that comes with a new oem cable, quadrant and firewall adjuster.
