My first and only Fox, so I don't know if this is normal. Is it? If not, what can be done to remedy it?

You may need a new Ford OEM Ignition Switch from AmericanMuscle.

Or maybe actually a Ford OEM Starter/Clutch Switch.

I used to think I had a defective starter... even had my starter replaced... this was when I first got my mustangs and didn't know anything (even less than now). Then I realized if I had it down all the way it would always start. Never had a problem starting again... I don't mind it.

Not to hijack this thread, but would there be anything wrong with having to push it all the way to the floor? Thanks.

You can adjust the clutch safety switch.
