Clutch pedal needs to be through the floor before starter engages.

You may need a new Ford OEM Ignition Switch from AmericanMuscle.

Or maybe actually a Ford OEM Starter/Clutch Switch.

I used to think I had a defective starter... even had my starter replaced... this was when I first got my mustangs and didn't know anything (even less than now). Then I realized if I had it down all the way it would always start. Never had a problem starting again... I don't mind it.

Not to hijack this thread, but would there be anything wrong with having to push it all the way to the floor? Thanks.
