Clutch Pedal Noise?

Sorry guys I tried searching but could not come up witha definitive answer. I recently installed a adjustable clutch cable/quadrant/firewall adjuster by UPR. And today I hear a popping noise from the actual pedal assembly. When I just tap on the clutch the pedal jolts and the popping noise occurs. The clutch grabs perfectly and there are absolutly no drivability problems...its just annyoing. If I move the pedal like not even half an inch the noise occurs. Any ideas?

the cable could be slipping off the quadrant. make sure the quadrant isnt crooked...not actually slipping off, but slipping off one of the sides down into the channel...know what i mean?
