just put in a king cobra and got everything back together and when i got in and pushed the pedal down it was very loose. i adjusted it on the firewall almost all the way out but its still kinda loose. i can have it to the floor and wheels wont spin but if i let off the slightest bit it catches.
is this normal or is something not right?
i have the steeda quadrant and firewall adjuster.

Are you not able to adjsut all of the slack out of the cable?

I reused my factory cable with the Fiore quadrant and I have it in the middle of the adjsutment.

Is the clutch fork resting on the pivot stud correctly?

I agree. Set it at zero lash for right now and see how it does.

Good luck.
