Clutch Problems with new Centerforce Dual Friction and new G-Force T-5

My Setup-

- G-Force T-5 with upgraded everything and Pro 5.0 shifter.
- Centerforce Dual Friction setup and Billet Flywheel.
- BBK adj. cable and quadrant w/ UPR firewall adjuster
(Clutch cable is setup as to have about 1 " of freeplay before beginning to disengage as to make sure i'm fully engaged when I let the pedal up.)

The Problem-

- Every launch on slicks at the track resulted in a complete loss of freeplay in my pedal. Light launches resulted in NO loss of freeplay. ONLY happens on 3,500rpm and up launches!!

- Broke in my clutch and tranny in for 1,000 easy street driven miles (NEVER had to adjust my clutch at all during this time).

Centerforce told me the Throwout Bearing is getting stuck on the Mainshaft

G-Force told me the clutch is shot

My mechanic thinks the fingers on the fork might be bending where the T/O bearing slides

Overall I've lost probably close to 2" of freeplay which has never come back. I just ordered a new OEM cable and Clutch Fork and plan on ripping the trans out in a couple weeks. This has also NEVER happened with my old King Cobra launching similarly.

Yeah, I know the cable isnt stretching cause its been in my car for 2 years now and this is the only time i've had a problem. It ONLY happens when I launch it hard so something is going on in there...

$3,000 later on a new tranny and clutch and 2,000 miles later I'm already pulling it all back apart again. Gotta Love Mustangs!!!

I'm using 15 year old motor, transmission, and crossmember rubber dry rotted bushings. I will be installing new poly bushings when I pull my tranny.

I think this has been causing me to miss shifts at high rpms....
