this morning when i was comming back from school, i pulled into the driveway and all of the sudden, bang the clutch pedal fell to the floor. i dont know if the cable went bad or the clutch failed, cause the pedal is just dangling with no tention like it used to have:shrug:

that same thing has happened to me before... turns out the dealer that installed the clutch from the previous owner didnt install the cable right....check the clutch quadrant as it could of popped of from there or check underneath the car and remove the cover for the cable located on the tranny...its either one or the other but if the cable busted as mine did, then youll need a new one.

americanmuscle.com (formally mustangtuning.com) sells a steeda clutch cable cheaper then as if you were to get it from a dealer.. http://www.americanmuscle.com/stadclca96.html

havent had a problem since but if i do i guess ill go with an oem one

has steeda had issues with them?

So far I havent had a prob with the steeda I have there cable, quadrant and firewall adjuster. Feals like the OEM one so far. think its all in the install how and you adjust the cable to fit right.

i agree it seemed as if the cable slowly got loose since i bought the car and it finally just gave in..i think it was installed/adjusted wrong to begin with but who noes.........the pedal had way to much play in it
