Clutch squeal type noise

There is a subtle, but constant and noticable squeal type noise that I hear when my clutch pedal is all the way up, if I press the cluth down about 1/2 an inch or so the sound goes away. Anyone know what might be wrong?

Also, my gears tend to grind once in a while when shifting, which seems to occur more often when the RPM's are high (5k), could this be related???

Yea the noise is your throw out bearing. As far as grinding gears, its probably your synchros going out. Those are both two common problems with mustangs.
