cobra brake kit

hi,

Just bleed the original master cylinder it worked for me.

You need someone to help thou or its a real pain in the ash! just open the front MC bleed screw and have the other person press on the peddle slow all the way to the floor then while they hold it down close the screw.I think it took me 2 or 3 presses to get the peddle feel where i wanted it.

You'll get the hang of it then top off your fluid to the line.

Good luck!

well now that its all in and not hitting my rims, the brake pedal feels soft and doesnt bite until the pedal is almost to the floor, i bleed the lines more and it got a little bit better but still no good. i decided i would put in the master cylinder that came with the kit and the flanges the bolt in on were completely opposite to the stock one. the cylinder would sit sideways, theres no making it work. now im wondering what the hell they gave me i looked at my friends 96 and it was just like mine

They gave you a 94-95 cobra master cylinder. On the 94-95 cars, you need to change the mc when putting cobra brakes on a 94-95 gt/v6.

On the 96+ cars you don't need to change it bu you do need to bleed the screws on the mc. The rear screw is the front brakes. Bleed both and I
M sure you'll find the feel had improved.

Sell that 94-95 cobra mc on bay. It's useless to you
