lol the funny part is he prolly paid more for the fact it was a Roush, and not only wasted the difference between a Roush and a normal GT, the price he spent for the cobra parts and paint.

nice way to go backwards. IMO they both look awesome but i could see doing that if you got a GT for an awesome price and it came with the roush kit and the roush kit isnt your thing. and its not like im biased, i had a 03 cobra and my current GT at the same time, and loved them both equally.

I also like the rear bumper, but I'm hesitant to do it because of the lettering. My bodyshop guy told me that when bondo heats up (from the sun, daylight, etc), it expands and contracts and eventually you'd be able to tell you filled it in.

That's the only reason I still have the GT rear bumper on.

Yes, I took this into consideration. And MineralMan's website provided me with the answer. This is the stuff i used. Worked great.

Good to know. I'll wait a few months and see how your bumper is doing. If it's still looking good, maybe I'll consider it then.

sooooo instead of buying a GT and doing this, you did it to a true Roush? Couldn't you have done a straight up trade for an 99/01 cobra instead?

Sorry, but that was a really stupid waste, yes it LOOKS NICE, but what you wasted

Keep the stock parts cause if you ever want to sell it you will not get anything without the real parts.

i dunno about you, but my guess is he isnt ever planning on selling the car in the first place or else he would have

Like I said it looks great, I just didnt agree with the roush slaying. But you addressed two of my points (the initial cost, and keeping on stock parts) Plus the all important point of "it's not my damn car and you can do whatever the hell you please to it CFT"

Would've kept it the way it was, although im partial cause I own a Roush. Should've done it to a regular GT, not a Roush. Dont go to shows and tell Roush owners you did this, you'll get flamed. But whatever makes you happy.

That is the dumbest statement I have ever heard the looks of a Roush dont even compair to the looks of an 03-04 cobra. Why dont you guys leave your ****ty comments to your self, its his car and he can do what he wants. Half of you have no room to say anything with some of the body kits some of you are sportin. Man it looks awesome, dont let the haters get to you. Roush mustangs are ugly and the side exaust is very restrictive.

You are saying stop hating on his car, but you are doing the same thing to others. He post the pics to get our opinions, and that what we gave. So if you dont like it, too bad. As far as side exhaust being restrictive, you lose 1-2 hp at the most, so you wont lose a race because of that. I think most of us dont think his car looks ugly, we just question the fact that he changed his whole look from a roush to a cobra. So chill out bro!

As javsvt said... chill out. I much prefer the Roush look, and the power loss to the side pipes is negligable. I couldnt give a crap if you dont agree.

Looks are subjective so flaming anyone who has a different opinion on the car's appearance is just plain immature.

Wow...I never meant to start a Roush vs. Cobra war. I never guessed my car would be so controversial. Anyways, hate it or love it, keep the comments comin'.

Oh yeah...because the car seems so controversial, I decided that the bumperless style looks best. Saves on weight...right Anybody want a roush body kit...or how about a cobra kit? She looks good, dont she?...

Trust me I like the way it looks, im just upset you did it to a roush. Its only because I own one, so no hating here. Like I said its your car, you do your car the way you like it. I actually love the rear end of the cobra, especially the way the exhaust look from underneath the rear.

I think it looks great in its current form.. Only stage 3 Roush's are cool anyways, the rest are pretty lame. Roush cars have always had ugly bodykits imo so i think you made the right decision.

I think it looks good. And how did he waste a Roush? Correct me if I'm wrong, but isnt that came just a GT with aftermarket shocks, and a body kit, or $3,000 worth of stuff that adds thousands more initially on to the price of the car?

I think it looks better.

Waste a Roush? I didn't see any destruction, just unbolting and moving parts around, much like Jack did originally.
