I went from a GT front bumper to a Cobra and have only removed my GT fog lights/brackets with nothing to replace them. It has been a few years and I want to get something in those holes.

I know I can buy some cobra direct fit replacements but was kinda looking at going with a round aftermarket fog light (and just tapping into the elec. connection to keep the stock switch).

What size dia. are the stock cobra fogs, and what have others used? I have seen a local guy use those "halo" or "cat eye" fogs that have an outer ring that lights up also...that would need a diff. switch I think so I do not know about those. I have found some 3.3dia fogs but do not know if they are too big.

Thanks,
Greg

I need to get some for my Cobra bumper too.

If I remember correctly, they are right about 3 in.

I would think the 3.3 in. would be okay, but they have to sit 'behind' the fog light holes just a little bit.

Mr Bodykit sells some nice replacement lights (brackets, wiring and all) for the '94-'98 Cobra front bumper for $149.99.

Part# LG1190

They’ve also got some decent looking universal lights designed for the same front end for $99.99

Part# 890

http://www.mrbodykit.com/lights/94mustanglights.htm

You'll find them a little more than 3/4 of the way down the page.

I can find around 3in round lights in Summit or at the parts stores for 50-60$.

just kinda wondering what people have had the best luck with life and light wise.

I will not spend 150$ for some stock fogs.

They're not stock, they're Euro Clear and come with all brackets, wiring and switches, which is probably why they're more than stock.

Last time I checked the price for the stock cobra lights and brackets in 5.0resto was right around that price. The lights alone were 79$ or so.

I just can not see myself spending anywere near that price at the moment on some fog lights.

my cobra fogs are just about 3" if memory serves. Theyre ultra clears...i used the same bulb as i had in my yellowed gt fogs before i swtiched bumpers, and the difference is phenomenal. I can literally drive with just the foglights on at night. got them from blue oval w/ mounting brackets included.

Just checked 5.0resto's website and they have the stock fogs for $79 pair including brackets...much better than I last saw.

I was looking at the pilot fogs...do you like them? Do they "fit" well?
