Well let me start by letting you know the weather. Its been raining for 48 hours straight and its flooding everywhere. I am on my way home from work to get changed and go to a job interview that I have been looking foward to. Well I am slowing down to turn into my sub-division and the car behind me can't stop in time. I can't hurry and make the turn cause of on coming traffic so I brace myself and BAM!!!! An 80 year old man smashes into the back of the cobra. I'm ok other than a headache that has turned into a sore neck as of now. Well guys I just need a new rear bumper luckily. His buick was screwed cause he swerved to miss me so it took out a little of everything on his front end. Well guys give me some suggstions on what bumper I should get and why?

why not the 96+ Cobra bumper where it actually says "cobra" instead of "mustang" on it. IF i ever got a 95 cobra that would be one of the first mods I would do, along with the 96+ hood.

saleen but the thing with that is that you would prolly need side skirts as well so, other than that I would get 96+ cobra bumper.

I agree with getting a 96-98 "COBRA" bumper.
Hope all works out for you.

I would also go w/ the COBRA rear bumper cover. I'm actually planning to go w/ that upgrade when the car is ready to be painted prolly next spring.

I have the saleen rear cover on mine, the only problem is with finish and fitament, theres alot of prep and finish work with those. I also still have my stock cover still wrapped in plastic, (in case I ever sell the car its going back to stock). I personally like the look of no lettering or any writing on my bumper, the only badges I have on my whole car are my two fender cobras.

I got hit in the rear end last year in my cobra. I opted to go with the stock "Mustang" cover. Fools people that don't know what they really are, and at first glance when not running, people think it is a v6 because of the lack of tail pipes.

Well the results are in I called Delk Performance and the 96-98 cobra bumper from ford is gonna run me 340 no tax and I'm gonna drive up there and pick it up. Also I'm getting 96-98 Tail lights with adaptor harness for 250 shipped from prestige mustang. It should all be here and on by a week from today. Who knew this would work out so well and I have no money to pay out of pocket.

nothing is wrong with mine they are in mint condition. They weren't hurt in the wreck but sorry guys our tail lights dont match the wing. The 96-98 tail lights do. I will keep my 94-95 tail lights so if i decide to change back i always can.
