Cobra intake or FRPP 65mm TB

I have to spend $800 , so frsting I gonna buy pair 275/40/17 Nitto's DRs $360 , than I have two choice buy Cobra upper/lower intake and do purt/polish job or buy FRPP 65mm Throttle body ,
What If I buy Cobra intake ,can I still run stock TB on Cobra intake

Most definitely go for the Cobra intake!! It is a well known fact that the lower intakes on our cars are very restrictive, and the Cobra is a great street intake. And I like the thought of having it ported/polished! If you ever went with a different intake, a ported & polished Cobra intake would fetch a pretty penny. Heck, even the regular Cobra intakes have good resale values.

I'd definitely do the TB later. It's probably one of the least restrictive parts but would be a good supporting mod after intake and/or heads.

INTAKE! You can run the stock TB for a while and not get hurt too much. The intake is one of the most restrictive things for our cars.

I agree w/ these guys you dont need to do your TB yet. Even after heads,cam,intake are done the stock TB is still sufficent. So while you have the money get the Cobra Intake. I got really good Power Gains w/ mine from going to the dyno along w/ a bigger Mass Air System.

I actually ordered my FRPP 65mm TB last night. If you are interested in getting one I would check out www.gefracing.com They have the best prices I have seen on Ford products.

That lower is for a 351, not a 302.

I still dont understand WHY just the COBRA intake is being considered.

There are way too many options, other than yet again, a Ford factory part.
