Cobra intake tb port

I have a cobra intake (supposedly off a wrecked 93 cobra) sitting in my garage. The tb opening is 70mm (unported). Pretty much anyone I've told that I have a cobra intake with a 70mm tb port has said I'm full of crap, they were all 65mm. The guy who gave me the intake says the oem 93 cobra manifolds were 70mm. Is there any truth to this? Is it just a weird repro spec variation? The casting/part # is RF-F3ZE-9425-CB.

Edit: you can see I did a slight gasket match in the picture, but the caliper is sitting inside of that and still reads 71mm. The casting seam goes straight to the outer lip, and the color difference is just a shadow.

Cobra has a 70mm TB plenum opening...I got one...the rest of the monkeys that say its 65mm are full of crap...I hate when usless crap gets spread over the internet...

Thanks man. If I had a dime for every time I've seen someone selling a cobra intake "port matched for a 70mm throttle body"... Even one of the guys who called me out on mine says he paid a shop $50 to do it. I think I'll offer to do his next one for $40

yup, 70mm......i have one too, i had to open mine upto 75mm though.......hotwheels of turborides

yup 70mm opening, they are probably getting confused since it came with a 65mm THROTTLE BODY, maybe they dont know the difference, lol j/k
