OK, I have a couple of questions. I've got a '93 Hatch that I use as my bracket car. I've got many drivetrain, chassis and suspension mods so it is set to run low 10's. However, I am still using my original motor because up to this point it has made me very succesful bracket racing so I don't want to mess with a good thing. Our local track is splitting up the footbrake class into sportsman and pro. ET cutoffs for pro will be 10.00-13.99 and sportsman will be 13.00-slower. I currently run 14.2's in the summer air. I am used to being the slower car so I am going to stick with the faster class. I need to find .3 seconds. I am considering a Cobra intake. Has anybody installed a Cobra intake on a stock motor? If so, how much ET did it pick up? I do have 1.72 rockers on the car also. My other questions: What is the difference between the original and the replica intakes I have been seeing? Where is the best place to buy one? Also, do the lower intake ports match the stock heads, or would I need to port match them?
