Could one of those "2"s be a "Z" ???Ok there was a problem. My brother told me the wrong number on the maf. The number i have is 2F12. I found a guy around town that had a X32 and let me borrow it. I plugged it in and it works worse than the A3M. Does that make any sense?
You should see an 'F1SF' on the MAS on that meter, assuming it is a 93 Cobra unit...
I will check for the F1SF on the meter. Thanks for all the input
yes that number is on the meter
I got it the number is F2VF.
Then you say...
Are there 2 different meters we're discussing here?
Keep in mind that I am currently following a couple of threads on MAF meters. I have a hard time keeping things straight as it is.
I'm not trying to be a jerk, but I am confused on what hardware you are working with![]()
So, what you have is...
ECU: A3M
MAF: 70mm / F2VF
INJ: 24Lb
Your options are...
- Purchase an X3Z ecu from a 93 Cobra, and an F1SF MAS (just the sensor)
- Purchase a Calibrated MAF/MAS from ProM, PMAS, or C&L for your ecu AND injectors
- Have a custom chip burned for your current combo of Injector/MAF/ecu
- Switch back to 19Lb injectors
The F1SF sensor may have been used on other Ford vehicles, so a walk through a local pull-a-part yard may be worth the time. It wouldn't matter what housing it is in, you only need the sensor.Yes that is what i have. I think i will buy that X32 from my buddy and look for a F1SF sensor. Do you know where i could possibly find one?
ok one last little thing. Would the X32 work with the stock 19#ers?
