if you are talking about a 96-98 cobra diff, then no its completely impossible, its never been done, the fact that they have the same case is beyond the point. if you are talking about an IRS yes it is possible. i have friends that have done it.

by rear end what are you referring to? the differential or the whole rear end? i have a 31 spline trac loc from an 03 cobra and mosers in my car
